At Sprowston Community High School we are passionate about the importance of good quality, impartial and independent careers information, advice and guidance. The work we do within careers education and through other activities aims to raise aspirations of our young people. We endeavour to make sure that they are well informed about the changing world of work and the opportunities available to them. We assist them to make well placed and effective applications to Sixth form, College or Apprenticeships and Work-based learning.
Making choices about your future can be exciting, but it can also be daunting, particularly if you are unsure of what direction you want to take. We hope that this website and referrals to other resources and services will help students and their parents/carers to make informed choices.
Jackie Hammond is a Careers Adviser, also from Beacon East. Jackie is in school on a Wednesday and Thursday in the Careers Room. Jackie also provides one-to-one Careers Guidance to students as well as assemblies and group works for students on related topics.

If you need any Information, Advice or Guidance, then you can see a Careers Adviser; Belinda Ladds (in school on Tuesday) or Jackie Hammond (in school on a Wednesday and Thursday).
