Thank You

As we head to the end of a busy term, I would like to thank our staff, students and families for all their support.

We have a number of important opportunities to raise money through non-uniform and other events.  On Friday 13 December we will be supporting Christmas Jumper Day with proceeds going to Save the Children.  The exception to this will be Y10, whose donations will be used to support the chosen charity of Macy's parents which is the Children's Acute Transport Service.  On Wednesday 18th December, the whole school will be supporting this charity in memory of Macy.

I would like to also take this opportunity to congratulate our Executive Head, Penny Bignell, who has been appointed Principal of Thorpe St Andrew High School.  Penny will take up this post at Easter but will continue to work with us for 1 day a week between then and the Summer.  We wish Penny all the best for the future.

Have a very happy and peaceful Christmas break when it comes.

Liz

Congratulations to: Phoebe, Lucy and Emilie on completing their Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Training

The Anti-Bullying Ambassador programme is part of the charity, the Diana Award. After her tragic death in 1997, The Diana Award was set up in 1999 to continue Princess Diana’s Legacy of love, compassion, service to others and above all her belief that young people can change the world. Young people from any background and any walk of life can be inspirational role models.
