The Business Studies classrooms are found in the CM Block. Business Studies form part of the optional curriculum offer at KS4, with mixed ability grouping used. Students can elect to study Business Studies as post-16 courses or apprenticeships.
Business Studies lessons help develop enterprising minds so that the students understand how businesses are started and run, how companies have had to adapt to changing times, and how a growing business can eventually become a successful global brand. Students are encouraged to develop their Business and Enterprise skills as well as their knowledge as they progress through the course, with opportunities to take part in projects with local companies, as well as enterprise and business competitions, both in school and nationally. The department has a wide range of links with local companies and business networks, as well as running a successful Young Chamber in conjunction with Norfolk Chamber of Commerce.
