As part of our Anti-Bullying Awareness Scheme here at Sprowston Community High School our Year 10 & 11 Anti-Bullying Ambassadors visited Falcon Junior School on Tuesday 15th November to run workshops with Year 5 on the effects bullying has on a young person physically and mentally. The content of the day consisted of team building activities and role play scenarios tackling many different types of bullying, the day ended with reflection and evaluation.
The Anti-Bullying Ambassador programme is part of the charity, the Diana Award. This was founded as a legacy to Diana, Princess of Wales’ belief that young people have the power to change the world for the better.
Since 1999, the Diana Award has recognised 39,000 ordinary young people who have made an extraordinary difference to their community.
